Strategic Salary Adjustments
A special allocation of funds has been allocated for VPs and Deans to use for merit-based salary increases to their highest performers, as well as address equity and retention issues. Units may supplement this amount with their own funds, if available. A Strategic Salary Adjustment is a base salary increase, not a one-time bonus. These funds are to be used for Administrative and Professional Faculty (A&P), Teaching and Research Faculty (T&R), Professional Research Staff (PRS) and University Staff (UStaff).
This year, the Lead@ system will house two separate “plans,” divided by employee type, and differing in approach.
