Academic Merit Process

This year, UVA HR is piloting a program to use Workday to process merit payments for University Staff, Classified Staff and A&P Faculty. Other groups will use the historic spreadsheet merit calculation process. Benefits of using Workday for merit include:
•    More automated with configurable validations;
•    View access for Deans and other leaders;
•    Dashboard capabilities;
•    Shared participation and collaboration; and
•    Robust reporting.

We will keep this page updated with need-to-know information. If you have questions, please reach out to the HR Solution Center at Askhr@virginia.edu or 434.243.3344.
