Open Enrollment is a time for all UVA benefits-eligible employees and team members to carefully review and elect benefits for the following plan year starting January 1, 2023. These benefits include health and dental plans, vision coverage, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Account.
Unless you experience a qualified life event like having a baby or getting married, making changes to these benefits can only be done during Open Enrollment, which this year runs October 3 through 14.
You CAN change your supplemental retirement and life insurance options during Open Enrollment, but supplemental retirement and life insurance changes can be made at any time.
On these Open Enrollment webpages, you will find ample resources and information to assist you in making the right decision, be it staying with your current plan or deciding a different one is a better fit.
