Important Information about Health Insurance Premium Deductions + Spending/Savings Acct Contributions


Academic Bi-Weekly Employees: Please review this important information regarding health insurance premium deductions and spending/saving account contributions:

1. Benefit deductions for paycheck dated January 2, 2026:

This paycheck covers the pay period December 15 – December 28, 2025. This check will include the second half of your December 2025 health insurance premiums. The paycheck dated December 5, 2025 covered a limited deduction pay period, for which insurance premiums were not deducted.

The January 16, 2026 paycheck will include the first 2026 benefit premium deduction.

2. HSA/FSA Contributions:

Contributions to 2026 plan year Health Savings Accounts (employee and employer contributions), Flexible Spending Accounts, Limited Flexible Spending Accounts, and Dependent Daycare Reimbursement Accounts will not be included in the January 2 paycheck. These will begin with the January 16, 2026 paycheck. Your contribution goal will be divided across the 24-benefit deduction pay periods (not including limited deduction pay periods).
