UVA COVID-19 Job Requirements and Guidelines

All University employees, including remote employees, must be fully vaccinated, unless they have a University-approved religious or medical exemption. This means all new employees must have received their first vaccination dose on or before their hire date and their second dose (if required) at the proper interval as defined by the CDC vaccine guidelines. Employees are also required to receive a booster dose once they become eligible.
