Hoos Well provides employees and spouses who are enrolled in the UVA Health Plan or UPG Anthem Health Plan with free access to eM Life— a live, virtual mindfulness solution to help you build skills to manage stress and anxiety, improve focus, and enhance your overall well-being.

eM Life includes many resources that you can apply to everyday life and chronic conditions, to promote health and happiness:

  • Live, interactive, online classes offered many times each day by 35 world-class instructors
  • Hundreds of hours of on-demand mindfulness content     
  • Twelve, immersive, multi-week programs that focus on specific health situations and well-being topics
  • Expert-led community to gain support, purpose, accountability and perspective  
  • Easy accessibility through the eM Life website or mobile apps (iOS and Android)

Please note: The eM Life 1% Challenge that is eligible for a $50 Hoos Well reward will begin in September 2024.  The 1% Challenge occurring in January - February 2024 is open to everyone, with rewards provided through eM Life.
