2024 Annual Report
We are pleased to present the UVA HR 2024 Annual Report, reflecting a year of meaningful progress guided by our three-year strategic plan aligned with the priorities of UVA and UVA Health. This framework helped us strengthen how we recruit, compensate, and support our workforce—refining talent acquisition to promote fairness, updating compensation strategies to meet evolving needs, and streamlining systems to empower managers and reduce administrative burden. We prioritized a culture of belonging and well-being through initiatives that foster connection, equip leaders, and elevate engagement across the University. Our early adoption of AI tools like CavBot, a new career site platform, and enhancements to Workday HCM have improved efficiency and made work easier. We also laid the foundation for long-term career growth by defining modern leadership competencies, refreshing learning offerings, and launching award-winning development programs. Looking ahead, we remain focused on adaptability, innovation, and preparing UVA for the future of work.
