Guided by the HR Roadmap, HR advanced work across five strategic pillars—strengthening talent acquisition, expanding well-being and recognition, investing in employee growth, improving HR technology and services, and preparing the workforce for the future. From initiatives like Career Journeys and enhanced leadership development to streamlined HR systems and expanded well-being resources, the report reflects a continued commitment to improving the employee experience and building a connected, people-centered workplace ready for what’s ahead.

HR NEWS

Each month UVA Human Resources publishes an electronic newsletter, the HR NEWS, that provides vital information to the UVA community about benefits, wellness, professional development, performance management, and includes the top 5 service FAQs by employees, with answers. In addition, the HR NEWS spotlights one or two employees who have an important story to tell the UVA community -- sometimes the stories explain what their work is and how it contributes to UVA, and sometimes the stories honor their exceptional contributions.
