    • Some member account information is automatically pulled into the application based on Aetna eligibility.
  • Complete the remaining fields and click "Complete Registration" to create your Teladoc account.

    • Click on "Add Family Members" and follow the instructions.
    • Remember to use first and last names of dependents.
    • Each dependent member has an identifier number located before their name on your ID card. This number will follow the Aetna ID number. ex: 01, 02, 04

  • Click on "Request a Visit" when you are ready to request services.
    • You may optionally provide a reason for the visit.
    • You may choose to have a visit "as soon as possible" or schedule an appointment. Due to heavy call volume, Aetna is suggesting you schedule a specific time for an appointment instead of requesting a callback from the next available physician.

  • Why can’t I use this for minor emergencies?

True emergencies require prompt physical attention from a nurse, PA or physician to treat the matter with urgency.

  • Why should I pre-register prior to needing care?

Registration is comparable to sharing your medical history when you first visit with a new physician.  Pre-registration speeds up access to this service because your medical history and personal details will already be addressed when you need care.

  • Can I use this for my child’s behavioral health appointments due to the convenience factors?

Behavioral health services are only available for patients who are 18+ years of age.

  • What is the difference between Teladoc and Telemedicine?

Teladoc is a virtual healthcare company that provides members 24/7 access for non-emergency medical care through phone or video consults. Teladoc doctors are U.S. board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine or Pediatrics.

Telemedicine provides non-emergency medical care through phone or video consults from local providers. Call your doctor to see if they’re participating in telemedicine. Find participating providers by visiting Aetna’s telemedicine webpage.
