Microsoft Office Online provides clip art and photo images at no charge. To access from MS Word, PowerPoint, etc., select "Insert" from the toolbar, select "Picture", then "Clip art".

The Life Support Learning Center provides training and education in current resuscitation and critical thinking surrounding arrest and patient decompensation that is essential for optimal patient outcomes.
Courses offered by the Life Support Learning Center are targeted to those who treat children and adults in emergency situations. Programs are designed to create learning opportunities that will enhance and expand the knowledge and skills of health care providers, improve the quality of health care delivery during emergency situations, and improve patient care.
UVA offers several career-specific training programs for nurses, including a Radiation Therapy Program and a Patient Care Assistant. Additional programs, including a Pharmacy Technician program, can be accessed through PVCC. The Charlottesville Albemarle Technical Education Center (CATEC), offers a nursing aide program which prepares participants to take the Certified Nursing Assistant exam. Successfully passing the CNA is a prerequisite to becoming a Patient Care Assistant at UVA Medical Center.
The Nurse Aide course is great for those interested in working in the health care field. Course offers intense (excessive) study of nurse aide standards and includes a significant amount of reading and exams. Classes meet three times a week —two nights of study and one night for clinical work. Classroom and clinical instructions include topics such as nurse aide standards, state requirements, legal issues, safety, nutrition, patient care, special care, science and clinical evaluation. Requirements: students must provide a current tuberculosis test, and sign the Nurse Aide Enrollment Acknowledgment form, and criminal history form.
