Rachel Allen is a Senior Learning and Development Consultant with nine years of experience working in higher education, and nearly 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and non-profit communications.

For five years at UVA, Rachel specialized in orientation, onboarding, and leadership development, leading the Grounds for Success and UVA Health orientation programs as well as supporting The Cornerstone Program. She now develops and facilitates professional development learning opportunities at UVA for open enrollment courses, cohort learning programs, and intact team sessions.

Rachel is a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), and is also a certified CliftonStrengths Coach. She is a certified facilitator for EQ-i 2.0/EQ-i 360, Korn Ferry architecture, Situational Leadership II, and for Crucial Influence and Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue.

A native of North Dakota, Rachel obtained her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two pre-teen daughters at their home in Charlottesville,

Rose is a Senior Learning and Development Consultant. Rose has 25+ years of experience in Human Resources in healthcare as well as higher education. Her background includes recruitment, compensation, employee relations, corporate training programs, curriculum design, and classroom facilitation. Rose also serves as a leadership coach and is an active professional speaker. Rose has earned several professional certifications and has a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Ohio University.

 

 

Kate Freeman, MS, ACC

Kate is the Team Lead for Learning & Development and a Senior Learning & Development Consultant specializing in leadership development, coaching, curriculum design, and facilitator development. She leads strategic learning initiatives, designs leadership development pathways, and facilitates learning experiences focused on Emotional Intelligence, Strengths-Based Development, Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversations, 360 Leadership Feedback, Engagement, and Team Building. Through her work, Kate helps leaders build the self-awareness, confidence, and practical skills needed to lead high-performing teams and create healthy, engaged workplace cultures.

Kate holds multiple certifications in leadership development and coaching. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Winthrop University and a Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Valdosta State University.

Kelsey is a Learning and Development Consultant with experience in higher education, non-profit, and healthcare organizations. Her background includes designing and facilitating workshops, supporting intact teams and managers, leading orientation and onboarding, and program and project management. She holds a M.S. in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from James Madison University and a B.A. in Human Relations from High Point University.
