Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2027 Begins October 5

Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to enroll in benefits or make changes to your current elections. All changes made during this period take effect January 1, 2027.

Your UVA Health Plan Options: 

Eligible for Enrollment:

• UVA PPO
• Health Savings (High-deductible health plan)

If you do not complete the 2027 Open Enrollment event in Workday, your current elections for health, dental, vision, and HSA will carry over into the 2027 plan year.

• If you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you must re-enroll if you want the account to continue into 2027.
• If you have a Dependent Daycare Reimbursement Account, you must re-enroll if you want the account to continue into 2027.

Dates

• Open Enrollment begins on Monday, October 5
  • You will recieve a task in your Workday Inbox on October 5 to get started.
• Open Enrollment closes at 12:00 midnight on Saturday, October 17
  • You must finalize all elections by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 16
    • After open enrollment ends, benefit changes will be limited to Qualifying Life Events
• Elections take effect January 1, 2027
  • Any updates to your paycheck deductions will appear on your first 2027 paycheck.

October 8 - UVA Health Medical Center, Cafeteria (Night Shift)
10:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
