Faculty & Staff Salary Studies Information
The University will be undertaking salary studies for both faculty and staff during the 2022-23 academic year.
UVA is committed to responsible and competitive compensation practices that enable us to recruit and retain an outstanding workforce. We value the contributions of our employees and want to compensate them appropriately. The purpose of these studies is to review and assess pay practices across the Academic Division. These types of studies are undertaken periodically by large organizations as part of best practice compensation oversight. In collaboration with the University Counsel’s office, the University has engaged outside firms with expertise in higher education compensation to conduct both the faculty and staff salary studies.
