UVA_HRLeadership Foundations Opening Session (Virtual)
Kick off your Leadership Foundations journey with a live, virtual session designed to provide the foundation for what it means to lead at UVA.
Leadership Foundations is a high-level, multi-session, blended learning program designed to equip people managers at the University of Virginia and UVA Health to lead with confidence, clarity, and connection. This program is ideal for all new managers – whether you're stepping into leadership for the first time, transitioning from a peer role, or newly hired at UVA.
Through a mix of facilitated virtual sessions and self-paced Workday modules, participants will learn how to lead, manage, and engage their teams effectively while gaining clarity on the support available to them as UVA leaders, from proven best practices to the people and departments ready to help.
This program offers actionable guidance, practical tools, and ongoing access to key systems and resources, ensuring leaders have what they need when they need it. Along the way, participants will connect with peers across UVA and UVA Health, building a network of support that extends beyond their own teams.
