Workday Approval Process Change


An update has been made in Workday that impacts Medical Center managers. In the Change Job and Request Compensation Change approval processes, the Leadership Approver role has now been replaced by the Manager’s Manager.

There are a small number of exceptions to this rule, when select service line organizations follow alternate routing up the service line management chain rather than the direct management chain. In these cases, Manager’s Manager would not be the appropriate routing and will be substituted with Service Line Director approval. These exceptions are listed below.

Manager’s Manager (or Service Line Director) approval only required based on Change Job Reasons listed below.

Note that some of these reasons are initiated by Talent Support, while others are initiated by managers.
