Rachel Allen is a Senior Learning and Development Specialist with nine years of experience working in higher education, and nearly 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and non-profit communications.
For five years at UVA, Rachel specialized in orientation, onboarding, and leadership development, leading the Grounds for Success and UVA Health orientation programs as well as supporting The Cornerstone Program. She now develops and facilitates professional development learning opportunities at UVA for open enrollment courses, cohort learning programs, and intact team sessions.
Rachel is a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), and is also a certified CliftonStrengths Coach. She is a certified facilitator for EQ-i 2.0/EQ-i 360, Korn Ferry architecture, Situational Leadership II, and for Crucial Influence and Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue.
