UVA Transportation around Grounds
The University Transit Service (UTS) operates on the UVA Grounds, and is a fare-free transit service committed to providing safe, reliable, efficient, and friendly transit service to University of Virginia students, faculty, and staff. Both the Red Line and Blue Line UTS buses run service between the medical center and the commuter parking lots.

Charlottesville Public Transportation
The Charlottesville Area Transit provides bus service to the greater Charlottesville area. Riders enjoy safe, clean, and comfortable service Sunday through Saturday, and all buses accept bicycles and provide wheelchair access. 

Airport, Train and Bus
The Charlottesville Albemarle Airport, located 8 miles north of the city of Charlottesville, offers daily non-stop flights to and from Charlotte, Philadelphia, New York/LaGuardia, Washington/Dulles, Atlanta, and Chicago, and connecting flights to anywhere nationally and internationally. 

The Amtrak train station runs trains north and south out of Charlottesville. The train station is located on Main Street. Check their website for the train schedule.
