Beyond the Comfort Zone: Breaking Career-Slowing Habits (Virtual)

Even high-performing professionals can unknowingly adopt habits that slow their career progression.

While external barriers and organizational constraints can create challenges, internal behaviors—such as risk avoidance, perfectionism, and reluctance to advocate for oneself—can also hold leaders back.

This course dives into the concept of career stallers and stoppers: the habits and patterns that may have once driven success but now act as roadblocks. Through real-world case studies, self-assessments, and research-backed insights, participants will explore the most common career-slowing habits, reflect on their own growth opportunities, and create an actionable development plan. Note: Many of the habits discussed were shared in our former course, Women in Leadership.
