In her book, Sheryl argues convincingly that internal obstacles hold women back. While this is the most controversial part of her book, research shows us that it is true for both men and women. However, women face specific and different roadblocks from men as they advance in the workplace. In fact, the very habits that helped women early in their careers can hinder them as they move up.
