Women in Leadership (In-Person)
Leadership is a journey influenced by ambition, opportunity, and the unique challenges individuals face.
While Sheryl Sandberg’s concept of "leaning in" emphasizes seizing opportunities, her argument that internal obstacles can hold individuals back is relevant to both men and women. However, women often encounter distinct challenges as they advance, including habits that once fueled their success but later hinder progress.
This course explores the leadership ambition gap, the glass ceiling, and the queen bee phenomenon through real-world case studies and research. In addition, participants will reflect on habits that may be holding them back and create a personalized development plan to drive their careers forward. This space welcomes everyone—leaders and allies alike—who want to understand these dynamics and support a more equitable workplace.
