2021 Governor's Honor Awards Nominations are Open!

These awards celebrate the accomplishments and important contributions made by the state workforce and reflect the highest levels of outstanding work at state agencies. A maximum of 11 nominations per agency will be submitted by UVA. Group nominations are limited to a maximum of seven (7) individuals, including a maximum of two (2) group leaders. It is important to nominate only those persons who have significantly contributed to the group’s accomplishments. Agencies are encouraged to recognize the accomplishments of larger groups internally. It is also essential for nominations to clearly document the results and/or benefits of the contributions and accomplishments already attained (not projected). We encourage members of our community to nominate those who demonstrate dedication, talent, and contributions that make a difference in Virginia.

The Governor's Honor Awards are open to full-time, part-time, and wage University and Classified staff and Medical Center team members.

Please note that teaching Faculty, UPG, Foundation, and Contingent Workers are ineligible. UVA's nomination deadline is Monday, June 28, 2021.
