🟢 Open Enrollment Starts Now — It’s Time to Choose!

Benefits Open Enrollment for the 2026 plan year is officially open!

From October 6–17, you can select your health plan, savings accounts, and other benefits for the upcoming year. UVA offers a variety of customizable options to meet your unique needs—so take time to explore, compare, and choose what’s best for you.

1. Attend the Benefits & Well-Being Expo (In-Person):

• Oct. 7 | 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. – University Medical Center, Education Resource Center
• Oct. 8 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. – UVA Newcomb Hall, 3rd Floor Ballroom
• Oct. 9 | 10:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. – University Medical Center Cafeteria (Night Shift Expo)

2. Visit a Benefits Counselor (Walk-In Support):

• Oct. 6, 9, 13 | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Old Ivy Building, 3rd Floor, Collab Space E
• Oct. 15 | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – University Medical Center, DCR 3

3. Register for Final Financial Webinars:

• Oct. 8 – Exploring the Benefits of an HSA
  Register for 10 a.m. | Register for 8 p.m.
• Oct. 13 – Staying Safe Online: Avoiding Cybersecurity Threats and Fraud
  Register for 10 a.m. | Register for 2 p.m.

4. Review Resources on the Open Enrollment Website:

• Plan comparisons, premiums, FAQs, and Workday instructions
• Short educational videos, including the updated Open Enrollment overview

5. Elect Your Benefits in Workday:

• Choose your health, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, retirement, and life insurance options
• Add or drop dependents (documentation required)
• Update beneficiaries, contact info, and confirm your elections
• Print or save a PDF of your elections after submitting

6. Complete the Post-Open Enrollment Survey:

• Find the survey link in your confirmation message or in the Benefits and Pay Hub in Workday
• Share your feedback to help improve future Open Enrollment experiences
