UVA_HROperations Status Update - December 16, 2020
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The University will operate in a modified operating status. Only personnel who have been specifically designated by their manager as essential to University operations under these weather conditions should report to Grounds. Those who have been working from home should continue to do so. Commuters on University Transit Red and Blue lines will see changes in parking (see below). Patient care services will be provided as usual. Academic Division staff who have been working from home should work remotely.
Red and Blue Line Commuters - There are important parking changes for Wednesday, based upon arrival time. Please note:
- If arriving between 3:30AM-5AM, park in the Emmet/Ivy Garage and ride the Employee Shuttle to the Medical Center.
- If arriving between 5AM-8:30AM, park in the Emmet/Ivy Garage and ride the University Transit Service Blueline bus to the Medical Center.
- If arriving between 8:30AM-5PM, park in the John Paul Jones Arena Garage and ride the University Transit Blueline bus to the Medical Center.
UVA officials will continue to monitor the weather and will notify of any changes to our operating schedule. Academic Division employees should monitor their email and check the UVA Operations Status Board. UVA Health Team members should monitor internal communications for any changes.
