University of Virginia Human Resources provides New Hire Orientation for UVA Health and for Academic Division staff new hires.
Faculty new hires should contact the office of their department chair, school dean and/or the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost for information concerning faculty orientation.
The various components of UVA Health each have unique Orientation processes. Please refer to the New Hire Portal for onboarding details, and confirm your full Orientation schedule with your manager, in case you have required role-based training in addition to HR Orientation.
