WOMEN'S 4-MILER AND TRAINING PROGRAM
Charlottesville Women's 4 Miler
Each year, thousands of women and girls, hundreds of volunteers, and dozens of community sponsors come together to support breast cancer care and research. The Charlottesville Women's Four Miler has not only become a community tradition, but also the largest all-women's race in Virginia. During the past 36 years, 50,000+ runners have raised more than $4 million for the UVA Breast Care Program.
This year, the race takes place on Saturday, August 31st at Foxfield on Garth Road. Race registration is currently open and fees vary from $30 - $55. Arrive early to get the best spot to cheer on the race participants!
Charlottesville Women's 4 Miler Training Program
Each year, the Charlottesville Track Club, led by “Pink Pammie”, holds weekly training sessions to prepare runners/walkers of all levels to complete the Charlottesville Women’s Four Miler race.
Join the program for 11 consecutive Saturdays of group training and talks by experts on a variety of women's health topics. The program takes place each Saturday from June 15th – August 24th at 7:00am at Lannigan Field on Copley Road.
Cost is $25 ($20 for CTC Members). Registration for the Training Program does not automatically register you to run/walk the race.
