George Minor was raised in Charlottesville and is a Rewards and Recognition Specialist at University of Virginia with almost 17 years of experience in helping UVA Health with engagement and recognition. Specializing in all areas of Rewards and Recognition, George uses that experience to work with Senior Leadership and managers to create programs and events to build team camaraderie. George partnered with UVA Health Marketing in 2010 to create a program called Uteam and helped to recreate what is now called Rewards and Recognition. With this new program he personally works with leaders and managers to create a program designed for each individual team as well as the entire organization. George has a spirit of fun and connections; this helps him to focus on each individual need for not only one team member but all team members.
