The Student, Staff Wage, and Faculty Wage Team (SSF) works with hiring managers and Business Partners to help recruit and hire exceptional candidates. We can help you post positions in Workday, and provide support and tools for hiring managers who need assistance in screening, sourcing, and selecting the best qualified talent.
Hiring managers can reach out to their designated HR Business Partner—who can help you connect with the SSF team—to receive assistance in posting positions in Workday. For general HR questions and in-person Workday assistance, please attend one of the I-9 open sessions detailed below. Members of our Inquiry (AskHR) and Talent Support teams will be in attendance and ready to help.
Every new employee is required by federal law to complete the entire I-9 process within three (3) days of their first day of work or risk termination of employment (unpaid) until documentation is received. Failure to present documentation by due date will put UVA out of compliance with federal regulations.
