2021 Annual Retraining

Each year, Annual Retraining is a digital course assigned to all team members at UVA Health who were hired on or before December 31st of the previous year. The training encompasses several topics that are deemed mandatory retraining each year from a variety of agencies and policies.

Note: The COVID-Prevention Training Course is included as part of the Annual Retraining Program.

University of Virginia Physicians Group: This training is being communicated differently this year, with messaging coming from UVA HR. Please note that this is the appropriate course for Annual Retraining for UPG team members.

School of Nursing (SON): Communications will be sent separately for Annual Retraining (not from UVA HR).

Key Dates:

• Launches in Workday Learning: May 3, 2021 (communicated to team members on May 5, 2021)
• Deadline to complete and be compliant: June 30, 2021

Audience:

• All members of UVA Health from SOM, UPG, and Community Medicine (including contingent workers and students) who were hired on or before December 31, 2020 must complete the course prior to the deadline of June 30, 2021.
