Just In: Jim Detert will be our guest for the March 27 meeting, and engaging with us about this book. What an added bonus for us!
Choosing Courage by Jim Detert is a practical guide to speaking up and acting boldly at work, even when doing so feels risky. Detert explains why people stay silent, how workplace systems reinforce fear, and what individuals can do to build the skills and confidence needed to voice concerns in constructive, influential ways. Drawing on research and real-world examples, he offers strategies for assessing risks, framing messages effectively, and creating environments where courage becomes a habit rather than a rare exception.
