đź“– Next Book: Crushing Doubt, by Dan Ratner
Crushing Doubt by Dr. Dan Ratner presents a mind‑body approach to understanding and relieving chronic pain and persistent physical symptoms. Building on the work of Dr. John Sarno, Ratner argues that many symptoms are not caused by structural or medical problems but by psychological processes—especially fear, doubt, and unresolved emotional stress—that activate the nervous system. The book combines scientific explanation, personal recovery narrative, and a structured system (“columns” of doubt, emotion, and power) with practical exercises to help readers retrain their thinking, reduce fear, and restore confidence in the body’s ability to heal.
Just In: Dan Ratner will be our guest for the May 29 meeting, and engaging with us about this book. What an added bonus for us!
đź“… Meeting Schedule:
- April 24 and May 29 (half of book for each meeting)
- Time: 12 noon to 1 p.m.
