Hoos Well provides employees and spouses who are enrolled in the UVA Health Plan or UPG Anthem Health Plan with free access to eM Life-- a live, virtual mindfulness solution to help you build skills to manage stress and anxiety, improve focus, and enhance your overall well-being. eM Life includes many resources that can be applied to everyday life and chronic conditions to promote health, happiness, and self-care:

  • Live, expert-led, interactive, online mindfulness classes 
  • Hundreds of hours of on-demand content     
  • Applied mindfulness practices to integrate into daily life  
  • Expert-led community to gain support, purpose, accountability and perspective  
  • Easy accessibility through the web or mobile app (iOS and Android)

The Hoos Well One Percent Challenge will begin early in the Fall semester of 2023. Practice mindfulness every day for 14 minutes (1% of your day) in the eM Life app or website and earn a $50 Hoos Well reward! More information and registration instructions will be posted on this webpage during summer 2023.
