UVA Walking Paths

Helping you get some fresh air and exercise!

Hoos Well partnered with UVA Geospatial Engineering Services (GES) to develop interactive walking paths throughout the university. We hope that these easy-to-follow routes encourage you to be active throughout the work day. Going for a walk is a wonderful way to get some fresh air and a change of scenery.

Walking paths maps are available for Main Grounds, Ivy Road, Old Ivy Road, Fontaine, Lewis and Clark and UVA Wise.  Use the interactive map on your smart phone or print out a PDF.

Walking Tips:

  • Bring comfortable walking shoes
  • Schedule a walking meeting
  • Take a phone call as you walk
  • Use a 15 minute break to go for a walk
  • Walk to your meeting or lunch spot
  • Create a walking group in your department
