UVA HR offers Faculty, University staff, and Medical Center team members a Total Rewards strategy to support you and your family during your career at UVA. Learn more about your benefits from the HR benefits and leave teams, retirement team, Hoos Well, FEAP, and local community partners at the Benefits and Well-Being Expo.


Open Enrollment is now closed. If you have questions about your benefits or would like to make changes to your benefits due to a qualified life event, please contact the HR Solution Center at AskHR@virginia.edu.


Expo Overview

The Benefits and Well-Being Expo, sponsored by Hoos Well, is again in-person this year at UVA's College at Wise, Newcomb Hall, Medical Center Education Resource Center (ERC) and a night shift location within the Medical Center Dining Conference Rooms. You won't want to miss an in-person opportunity to meet with HR specialists and health vendors. You can also attend a benefits presentation, and get a flu shot (College at Wise, Newcomb Hall, and Medical Center ERC only). 

EXPO DATES AND TIMES:

  • Sep. 27-28 - College at Wise
    • Chapel of All Faiths
    • Sep. 27: 1:00-5:00 pm
    • Sep. 28: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
  • Oct. 4 - Newcomb Hall (includes live benefits presentations)
    • 3rd floor
    • 8:30 am-2:00 pm
  • Oct. 5 - Medical Center ERC
    • 7:00 am-3:00 pm
  •  Oct. 10 - NEW! Night Shift Expo, Medical Center, Dining Conference Rooms
    • 10:30 pm-1:30 am

For maximum flexibility, the Expo offers you both in-person and virtual ways to learn about your benefits. You can:

  • Attend the Expo in-person at four locations over 3 weeks.
  • Attend the benefits presentations in-person during the Oct. 4 Expo at Newcomb Hall, OR watch them live-streamed on this webpage, OR watch a replay of select Expo webinars after they are complete.
  • You can meet in-person with the HR Benefits and Leave team, OR schedule a virtual 1:1 appointment with an HR specialist to discuss your benefits.

Expo Benefits Presentation

In addition to around 30 booths hosted by vendors, you will be able to attend an in-person presentation on October 4 at Newcomb Hall, or view it live-streamed or recorded. This presentation discusses benefits changes for plan year 2024.
